Christina Claire Ciminella popularly called Jude Wynonna is an American singer, author, philanthropist and actress. She is best known for her country music. She and her mother, Naomi were the music duo, The Jude’s in the 1980s.
Jude Ellen Wynonna born Christina Claire Ciminella was born on May 30, 1964, Ashland, Kentucky, U.S. she took her step father’s last name, Ciminella. They moved to Los Angeles in 1968. Jude and her mother moved to Kentucky when her mother and her stepfather divorced. They later moved to Nashville Tennessee to pursue music. Jude’s younger sister is actress Ashley Jude.
Jude had a son, Elijah Jude with Arch Kelley in 1994. They got married on January 21, 1996. The couple had another child, Grace Pauline born on June 21, 1996. The couple divorced in 1998. In 1999, Wynonna joined her mother for a tour. In the same year, she released her fifth album titled “New Day Dawning”. She co-produced this album. She released her next album, “What the World Needs Now Is Love” in 2003. She later released a studio album titled “Sing: Chapter 1”.
In 2011, Wynonna released her first novel titled “Restless Heart”. This book is now a best seller. In the same year, she debuted her band “Wynonna & The Big Noise”. The band released a self-titled studio album in 2016.
