It is true indeed that a person is known more often by its work. This singing sensation is famous by her stage name known as Adore Delano. Her real name is Daniel Anthony Danny Noriega. She is a celebrated American Drag queen and singer. In the year 2008 she made her first appearance on the television screen by participating in the seventh season of the famous singing reality show known as American Idol. She first came to the lime light when he competed in the sixth season of RuPaul‘s Drag Race and released his first debut studio album Till Death Do Us Party in the year 2014.
Biography and Family
Danny was born on September 29 in the year 1989 in Azusa California. She has four other siblings and is the youngest of all and has two elder brothers and two elder sisters. Though her ethnicity is Mexican –American but also displays some traditional colors of German and Native American ancestry.
After American Idol, Adore became a celebrated YouTube personality by performing different skits in drag as Adore Delano or Angel baby. In the year 2009 he released her first video song 24/7. He got inspired by Raven who performed at nightclub Micky’s in West Hollywood. Noriega finally ended up winning the competition at the club.
After this huge victory she started to perform as Adore Delano in Southern California. In the year 2013 she also walked the Marco Marco runway Angeles Fashion Week. During the same year in the month of November she was among top fourteen Drag Queens who were invited to participate in the sixth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race. As soon as the season ended he had something in his mind which came in the form of a Single released on the date of 20th May 2014. This was the lead single for her debut Album Till Death Do Us Party. The complete album was released on June 3rd. Throughout this year she was busy in the promotion of this album, releasing music videos for the many of its tracks.
During the month of November in 2014 Delano announced that another album was in the works. In the month of May during the year 2015 she announced that she the writing sessions for the album have been started.
In the month of August, Delano spoke to So So Gay, revealing that her upcoming album would include 22 songs, and would be released sometime in the year 2016. In her next interview with Queen magazine she contradicted the former statement and proclaimed that half of the songs would be used for another album. On 17th November Delano announced the name of her next album i.e. After Party with the help of social networking sites. The first song (Dynamite) was released on February 26 2016 and the second song was released on 10 March 2016 which was named as Take Me There.
Her first album Till Death Do Us Party released on 3rd June charted on number three on the US Dance/Electronics Albums Chart and the same album was ranked 11 on the Unites States International Albums chart. These achievements made Delano the highest Charting artist among all other drag race contestants.
Adore was named as one of the ten contestants on the second season of All Stars on Rupaul’s Drag Race.
Her third studio project is currently in work and is expected to be released in late 2017.
She was also seen in a couple of movies in the year 2015 named Dragged and TupiniQueens.
Adore was placed in the bottom three contestants in the first episode of Drag Race. She then decided to quit the show in the second episode and thus became the first ever contestant to fully withdraw her name from the show.
