Kristin Elizabeth Cavallari, commonly known as Kristin Cavallari was born on 5th January, 1987 in Denver, Colorado to Judith Eifrig and Dennis Cavallari. She is born to German and Italian parents. She has a brother. Kristin stayed in Colorado till her parents got divorced after which her father along with her brother, shifted to Laguna Beach, California and Kristin settled with her mother in Illinois. Later her mother remarried. After sometime, Kristin also moved to Laguna Beach to stay with her father. Kristin’s brother Michael was found dead on 10th December, 2015 due to hypothermia caused due to a car crash.

The central plot of the series was weaved around the love triangle between Kristin, her senior Stephen Colletti and another cast Lauren Conrad.


In 2006, Kristin moved to Los Angeles to develop her career in acting. There she signed yet another reality TV series called ‘Get This Party Started’ by UPN. However, the series got cancelled after airing just 2 episodes. After this, Kristin did one episode of ‘Veronica Mars’. Post that she made few guest appearances in different series. Ultimately in 2006, Kristin signed a horror film ‘Fingerprints’.

In 2008, Kristin got a supporting role in ‘Spring Breakdown’. This movie was directly released on DVD and received mixed response. Apart from this she was a part of an independent film ‘Green Flash’.

In 2009, Kristin was cast in the Laguna Beach spin off series ‘The Hills’. Kristin also featured in the 13th season of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ of ABC. Her partner was Mark Ballas, who was a two time champion of the show. However, Kristin was the 3rd participant to be eliminated from the show.

Kristin also starred in two other films namely ‘Wild Cherry’ and ‘National Lampoon’s Van Wilder: Freshman Year’.
