Born as Carole Ann Difalco, she obtained her B.A. degree from Hunter College. She did her M.B.A. from the New York University and started her career at the ABC in 1986 as an intern. When her husband died, Radziwill left ABC News to write a memoir concerning her personal life, her career at ABC News, also as her effort to cure her husband’s cancer. What Remains: A Memoir of Fate, Friendship, and Love (Scribner, 2005) made the names in bestseller book list in New York.
A review of the book in the NewYork Times tells it a “bittersweet account” that emphasized “graciousness over disclosure.” In 2006, Radziwill signed with Glamour magazine to put in writing a monthly column known as “Lunch Date”. Her Lunch Dates have included former city mayor Rudy Giuliani, and Hollywood actors Antonio Banderas, Rachel Weisz, and Alec Baldwin.
