In 1990, Warren G, Snoop Dogg, and Nate Dogg became members of the Long Beach California hip pop trio known as 213. Snoop Dogg signed with Death Row Records leaving the two alone. His breakthrough came in 1993 after appearing in a single by Mista Grimm was known as Indo Smoke. The single was featured on the Poetic Justice Soundtrack. In 1994, Nate Dogg and Warren G went ahead and produced their own single Regulate which was a smash hit. Their hit appeared on the Above the Rim soundtrack. Warren G. went ahead and included the hit in his first album violator. The hit not only became number two in the Billboard but also pushed the entire album up to that same number and sold more than three million copies. In 1997, Warren released his second album “Take a Look over Your Shoulder” which became gold certified in America.

The hits on the album included “Smoking Me Out.” and “I Shot the Sheriff.” In 2013 between June and September, Warren G toured on the West Coast Fest tour. Warren was a guest star on the Warner Bros television sitcom know as Newsreaders with Louis La Fonda on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim. He was playing OG Hemingway. In August 2014, Warren G was a guest in ‘American Hustle Life.’ Warren directed a new version of “Boy In Luv” released through ‘American Hustle Life,’ a reality program.Warren G released “My House” on July 13, 2015, the first single for his EP Regulate… G Funk Era, Pt.
