Jaheim (aka) Jaheim Hoagland is an American Musician, Lyricist, R&B Singer and Rapper was born on 26th May 1978 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, United States (U.S.). He was popularly known as Jaheim by his fans. He is from the African American origin. Currently, he resides in Hillsborough Township, New Jersey, U.S.
Jaheim is an orphan. He lost his father at the young age of 3 and his mother at the age of 17.He grows up in Memorial Parkway Homes Public housing.
Earlier, he used to participate in family music fests along with his grandfather Hoagy Lands, a Singer who sang in music groups like “The Drifters”.
He also took part in the local talent shows. In 2010, He had the idea of studying in St. Johns University but due to record success of “Another Round”, he put off his idea.
In 2001, He made his first album “Ghetto Love (2001)” recorded by Divine Mill Records and following to that, the albums released are Still Ghetto (2002) Ghetto Classics (2006).

In 1997, he started his own music group “Julie’s Dream Music Group” and restarted in 2002. In 2015, His music group signed a deal with BMG Records.
He won three awards at the Apollo Talent show at the age of 15. In 2003, He was nominated for American Music Award in the category Favorite Soul/ R&B Male Artist. In 2011, He was nominated for Grammy Award in the category Best R&B Album, for the music album “Another Round”.
