Curtis James Jackson III popularly known as 50 Cent was born on July 6, 1975. He is an American rapper, actor, businessman, and investor. James was born in the neighborhood of South Jamaica. He began selling drugs at the age of 12. After realizing his potential in music he left drug-dealing to pursue a career in rap music. Eminem when heard his album was very impressed, followed by which he was signed by Interscope, Shady Records and Aftermath Entertainment.
