Sir Elton Hercules John was born as Reginald Kenneth Dwight on the 25th of March in 1947. He was born to Stanley Dwight and Sheila Eileen in Pinner, Middlesex. He is an English composer, singer and a pianist. He is a very successful artist and the fact that over the period of his career till date he has sold more than 300 Million records stands as a proof for that. He did his education from Pinner Wood Junior School, Reddiford School, and Pinner County Grammar School. By the age of 17 he dropped out of school to pursue his career in music. He learned to play the piano at a very young age, 3 to be accurate and started to dedicate his entire life and focus towards music.

By the year 1962, Elton John formed his very first band Bluesology. Till 1967 he and his partner in songwriting, Bernie Taupin used to write songs for various other famous artists.
