The prominent New York based businessman and salesman, Jason Hoppy, best known for his appearance on the reality show, Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York, was born on September 10, 1970. Jason Hoppy Biography
Born to parents Carol A. Hoppy and Robert M. Hoppy in a working class apartment in the city of New York, Jason grew up with a younger brother, Bryan Hoppy, who died in a tragic car accident in early 1991. However, very little information is available for the early life of Jason Hoppy, but it is known that he graduated High School from the city of New York. During his senior year, Hoppy ended the annual basketball season as the lead scorer playing from his High School team, Mountaineers, in the season of 1988-99.
After graduating High School, Hoppy moved to the city of Scranton to pursue a college degree (unknown) from the University of Scranton. His talented basketball run continued throughout his college life, where he won 28 consecutive games. Jason Hoppy’s exceptional streak was finally recognized in the year 2003 when he was added to the wall of fame at the University of Scranton for his performance in the sport from 1989-1993.
Jason Hoppy met the American TV personality and self help-book author, Bethenny Frankel at a nightclub in the city of New York. They announced the news of their engagement and Frankel’s pregnancy in the year 2009. They eventually finalized their marriage on National TV on the show “Bethenny’s Getting Married?” and welcomed a daughter, Bryn Hoppy, on May 10, 2010.
However, the marriage turned out to contain numerous ups and downs, mostly downs. With most of their married life being public on national TV, the world witnessed one of the ugliest ends to a marriage. With an aggressive legal drama centered on the finalization of the divorce and the custody of their child, Bryn, Jason Hoppy was booked with charges for threatening and stalking his ex-wife.
Jason filed a motion in court for the dismissal of the charges as he deemed them to be “false” which was eventually denied. Following the reading of the dismissal orders, Hoppy was offered a deal by the Judge in which he would have to obey a one-year long restraining order and be on his best behavior with his ex-wife, which was eventually, turned down by Jason and instead, continue the fight in court.
After graduating from the University of Scranton, Jason Hoppy moved back to his hometown, New York City, to pursue his business ventures. Hoppy, before gaining television fame, started off as a pharmaceutical salesman. He worked as an account executive and a sales executive for the North Chicago based pharmaceutical MNC, AbbVie. With very little information on his occupational prospects, Jason is also known to have tried his hand at the Real Estate business working as a Real Estate agent.
