Michelle Liegh Calaway was born on 25th Jan, 1980. McCool was a passionate follower of wrestling since a very tender age. Apart from wrestling softball, basketball and volleyball also interested her. At Pasco- Hernando State she played her first base. After having a master degree in Educational leadership from Florida State University McCool worked as a middle school teacher in Palatka, Florida before entering the wrestling arena. The very talented McCool has also been engaged in National Physique Committee fitness contests, taught gymnastics and kickboxing and has also worked as a personal trainer before getting engaged in professional wrestling.

In 2001 McCool married her long term boyfriend since high school, Jeremy Louis Alexander, but unfortunately their marriage turned sour and this couple got divorced in 2006. Days after the rumor ended with the murder/suicide of Benoit family. In 2010 she again got married to the wrestler Mark Calaway aka Undertaker or the Deadman.
