Kurt Warner was born on 22nd June 1971 as Kurtis Eugene Warner in Burlington, Iowa, U.S.A. He was born to Gene and Sue Warner. He attended Regis High School in Cedar Rapids. Kurt graduated in 1989. During his days in high school, he used to play football. When Kurt was only four years old, his parents divorced. He and his elder brother Matt lived with his mother. Their mother remarried, but unfortunately, they had to experience another divorce five years later. He has two brothers named Matt though one of them is not his real brother. He is a stepbrother from his father’s second marriage.
Kurt Warner has been married to Brenda Carney, a former the United States Marine Corps corporal, since 1997. The couple has a total of seven children. Two are adopted, and the rest are his biological kids. He adopted a son Zachary and a daughter Jesse Jo who were Brenda’s children from a relationship she had before their marriage.
They were then blessed with five other children of their own. Zachary is blind a damaged left brain because of a fall he experienced when Brenda’s ex-husband dropped him accidentally. Brenda’s parents lost their lives in 1996 when a tornado struck their home.
In 1994, Warner went undrafted in the NFL Draft. It was suggested that he try out for the Green Bay Packer’s Training that same year. According to Coach Steve Mariucci, Kurt was not ready to be an NFL quarterback leading to him being released from the camp before the regular season began. He decided to work at Hy-Vee Store in Cedar Falls. In 1995, Kurt returned to the Arena Football League and signed with Iowa Barnstormers.
He was the ALF’S First-team All-Arena in 1996 and 1997 because of leading the Barnstormers to Arena Bowl appearances in both seasons. He was ranked number twelve out of the 20 best Arena Football player of all-time. In 2000, his name was used for the name of their video game “Kurt Warner’s Arena Football Unleashed” considering how famous his name was at the time of its release.
He was made an inductee into the Arena Football Hall of Fame in 2011 and 2017. Between 1998 and 2003, he was a quarterback in St Louis Ram. He led the team to a victory against the Tennessee Titans in Super Bowl XXXIV in 1998. He was awarded the Super Bowl MVP award in 1999 and 2001. He was also a quarterback of New York Giants in 2004, and since 2005, he has been one for Arizona Cardinals.
