Hamilton Masakzada is Zimbabwean cricketer player currently representing Zimbabwe in international cricket. This tall and dark Zimbabwean cricketer known for his right-handed batting style and right-handed bowling medium speed off spin bowling style and holding the place in Zimbabwean cricket team an all-rounder cricket player.
This 6ft 3inch tall cricket player also plays cricket for domestic teams and for some teams in Indian premier cricket league. Hamilton Masakadza was born on 9 August 1983, in Harare, Zimbabwe. Along with his two brothers, he also played domestic cricket for the Mountaineers in his early life. He went to elementary school Churchill School in February 2000 and at age of 16 still the schoolboy, Hamilton became the first black Zimbabwean to score a first-class century. After than he played against the West Indies and other teams U-19 team.
After that, he ephemeral stopped his career to studying at University of Free state until he was recalled to play for international Zimbabwean team in 2004. After that, he cemented his place in Zimbabwean cricket team forever.
Hamilton started playing for the mountaineers along with his two brothers when it comes to domestic cricket. Moreover, he also played for the domestic teams like Mashonaland(2001), Manicaland(2000-2005), Matabeleland(2003-2004), Easterns(2007-2009), presently playing for the Mountaineers(2009) and Sylhet Royals(2013).

In 2004, Hamilton was called to play for Zimbabwean international cricket team and eventually, he became captain of Zimbabwe cricket team because of his award winning performance. When it comes to testing matches, he made his official international debut for Zimbabwe on 27 July 2001 and the match was against the West Indies.
In his team’s second innings, he made 119, thus becoming, at the age of 17 years, the youngest player to make a century on his Test debut. He played his last test match 6 November 2016 and the match was against the Sri Lanka. At that time he was not the captain of the Zimbabwean cricket team.
When it comes to One-day innings, his cap no.is 65 and the shirt no.is 03. He played his first ODI for Zimbabwe on 23 September 2001 and the match was against the South Africa. He has the record for scoring the most number of runs 467 in a 5 match ODI series. Moreover, in October 2009 he made scores of 156 and 178 not out in a home ODI series against Kenya.
Making him the first player of a country who scored 150+ in ODIs and first cricketer across the globe who scored that in the same series. When it comes to T20s, he made his debut for Zimbabwe on 28 November 2006 against the Bangladesh. His last T20 was on June 22 against the India.
