Family entertainer, romantic and comedy performer, versatile actor; yes we are talking about Daggubati Venkatesh aka Victory Venkatesh. He is an Indian actor who mainly focused on Telegu industry. The actor has dedicated his 22 years of life to the film industry with more than 70 movies.
Daggubati Venkatesh was born into the prestigious Naidu family known as “Dadasaheb Phalke” on 13 December 1960 in Chennai. He is the proud son of Telegu filmmaker and producer D. Ramanaidu and Rajeswari. His father runs a successful production house named ‘Suresh Production’ along with his brother, D. Suresh Babu. Venkatesh married Neeraja Daggubati in the year of 1985. They now have a happy family of six with three daughters- Hayavahini Daggubati, Aashritha Daggubati, Bhavana Daggubati and a son Arjun Daggubati. Currently, at the age of 56, he is living at Film Nagar, Hyderabad with his family.
The year after his marriage to Neeraja, Venkatesh entered the film industry through his debut film titled “Kaliyuga Pandavulu” in 1986. Two years later, he acted in “Swarnakamalam” directed by K Viswanath. This movie was exhibited in 1989 in International Film Festival of India and rewarded him with a Nandi Award.
From then on after a few ups and downs, he started to rise with his hit movies “Bobbili Raja”, “Shathruvu” and so on. He also contributed to Bollywood movies such as – “Taqdeerwala” where he romanced with Raveena Tandon. He also worked with director Ram Gopal Verma and that project highlighted him as an actor even more.
Venkatesh completed his primary education from Don Bosco, Chennai. As for graduation, he received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Loyola College, Chennai. He completed his MBA from Monterey Institute of International Studies, USA and returned to Chennai with an MBA degree in hand. But, he had made better decisions for himself. He entered the Telegu film industry right after returning from the USA. From then on, there was no stopping him.

It will be directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad featuring Venkatesh and Ritika Singh as the lead roles. Another movie that is scheduled to come this year is” Adallu Meeku Joharlu”; this time only featuring Daggubati Venkatesh. These movies are set to release in Telugu, Tamil languages in South India. Currently, he is busy with the promotions along with the crew.
Daggubati Venkatesh has earned the tag of ‘Remake King’ for remaking almost 24 movies. His versatility on screen makes his fans run to the theater as soon as his movies release.
